As a Group Leader in their Electronics & Software division, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation.

Your new role

  • People Management:
    Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers. Set performance targets, foster professional growth, and drive recruitment efforts.
  • Skill Matrix Alignment:
    Ensure that their team’s skill set aligns with business needs, promoting excellence in design and development.
  • Resource Planning:
    Strategically allocate resources based on project requirements, maintaining efficiency and prioritization.
  • Design Process Management:
    Define and oversee design processes within the group, harmonizing them with global standards.
  • Project Support:
    Collaborate on project planning, managing resources and timeframes effectively.
  • Risk Mitigation:
    Identify and address technical risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Reviews:
    Participate in and support project technical reviews, contributing valuable insights.
  • Compliance:
    Uphold health and safety regulations, as well as quality standards, both locally and globally.
  • Reporting:
    Report directly to the Head of Engineering & Technology HU.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree:
    Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Solid understanding of embedded systems, including hardware and software development principles.
  • Communication Skills:
    Proficient in English, with excellent presentation and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability:
    Thrive in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment.
  • Leadership:
    Experienced in managing diverse technical teams and stakeholders within a multinational organization.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 3 years in an engineering leadership position.
  • Resilience:
    Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changes effectively.
